Job Description

Reporting to the Head of HR (Singapore Branch), the incumbent will be expected to perform the following tasks:-

  • Responsible for recruitment process (posting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, etc.)
  • Handle onboarding of new employees (employment contract preparation, creating employee profile, conducting onboarding screening checks, etc.) and employees exits
  • Manage all work pass applications and renewals
  • Register Capital Markets staff for required examinations
  • Collect training data from Department Heads and update the training register monthly
  • Conduct annual employee screenings
  • Analyse and present annual internal Employee Survey results
  • Update HR procedure manuals to ensure compliance with regulatory / statutory requirements in a timely manner
  • Prepare HR documents for internal and external audits
  • Complete surveys issued by government institutions (e.g., MAS, MOM, etc.)
  • Draft internal memos and announcements as needed
  • Organize staff events  
  • Ensure high level of employee engagement through effective monitoring of employee feedback
  • Oversee Branch’s external communication to promote employer branding
  • Recommend initiatives to increase employee value proposition
  • Provide support in various HR activities or initiatives as assigned
  • Assist in projects and tasks as assigned by the Branch General Manager

 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate would have/be:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field of study
  • Min. 2 years of relevant HR generalist experience
  • Organized and resourceful individual
  • Able to take initiative
  • Effective team player
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
