Key Responsibilities

This is a key opportunity to join DZ BANK’s Fixed Income Sales team in Frankfurt and drive our strategic coverage of Italian and international Real Money clients. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly motivated professional to further develop and deepen our client relationships, design solution-oriented investment ideas, and make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role is based in Frankfurt and requires regular travel to Italy and other European countries.

Position Overview
Based at our headquarters in Frankfurt, you will be responsible for driving the distribution of the bank's Capital Markets product suite to leading Italian and international institutional investors (Real Money). The primary objective is to expand and deepen top-level relationships across all Fixed Income, Treasury, and Structured Product asset classes to meet and exceed revenue targets. This role demands deep product and client knowledge, a proactive and collaborative mindset, and the ability to work closely with Trading, DCM, and Research desks.

• Business Development: Drive revenue across a multi-asset Fixed Income suite, ranging from primary and secondary bond trading, ABS, hybrids, and perpetual bonds to derivatives and currencies.
• Client Management & Advisory: Systematically grow the Italian and international franchise. Partner with clients to develop solution-oriented investment ideas—from plain vanilla to complex structured products—in close coordination with Trading.
• Treasury & Repo Distribution: Actively distribute Treasury products, with a strong focus on Repo markets and related money market derivatives.
• Strategic Structuring: Leverage your expertise in regulatory frameworks (such as Solvency II) to offer tailored solutions to insurance companies and asset managers.
• Roadshows & Events: Organize and accompany roadshows for our Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team and coordinate high-impact client events.
• On-site Coverage: Conduct regular client visits in Italy and other European countries alongside key internal stakeholders from Trading, DCM, or Research.
• Client Onboarding & Compliance: Lead the client onboarding process in full compliance with DZ BANK’s KYC requirements and ensure scrupulous adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Execution: Trade transactions and ensure their precise recording and booking in the respective internal systems.

Your Profile

• Track Record: At least 5 years of demonstrable success in a comparable capital markets institutional sales role.
• Market Expertise & Network: Deep knowledge of the Italian and international institutional client landscapes, with a proven and established network of top-level contacts. 
• Product Knowledge: Sophisticated understanding of Capital Markets products, specifically Fixed Income flow, ABS/CLOs, Swaps, and more complex structured solutions.
• Specialized Expertise: Strong background in Treasury/Repo activities (including money market derivatives) as well as regulatory and investment frameworks such as Solvency II and LDI strategies.
• Qualifications: Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (optionally supplementing a completed vocational training in banking).
• Languages: Native-level Italian and business-fluent English are required; additional European languages are a strong asset.
